Crispy fried potato slices in lard or ghee

In the beginning I found the idea bizarre, as I associate fried potato with “an old cast-iron pan” that is so heavy that you can barely lift it with one hand, crispy fried potato slices with bacon and quite a lot of oil or lard. These are my childhood memories that I carry with me. But the fried potato can also be prepared quite different, taste good and still be healthy, how do you think so? One thing the two different types of preparation have in common, namely lard or ghee.
